Meme Stretcher

Made by

Nicole France

Turn a familiar meme into a gloriously goofy masterpiece in seconds. Meme Stretcher is an interactive image editor where you drag across a picture to bend, squash, swirl, or inflate parts of it in real time. Pick a classic from the built-in gallery, including Doge, Grumpy Cat, and Surprised Pikachu, or upload your own photo for a custom twist. Switch between five distortion modes and adjust the brush radius to shape every ridiculous detail. When your creation is ready, save it as a PNG and share the laugh. Want another playful way to make things? Explore image-bending creative tools and keep experimenting.

How to Play Meme Stretcher

Start by opening Gallery and choosing a meme from the All Memes, Classics, Reaction, or Viral categories. If you have a picture of your own, select Upload and choose an image from your device. Next, pick a distortion mode: Free Drag pulls pixels with your movement, Melt creates a droopy effect, Squeeze compresses an area, Inflate pushes it outward, and Swirl twists it around. Use the Radius slider to make the affected area smaller for precise edits or larger for bold changes. On the canvas, press or click and drag over the image to apply your chosen effect. Made a change you don't like? Select Undo to reverse a recent edit, or Reset to restore the image to its original state. When you're happy with the result, click Save Meme to download your finished picture as a PNG.

Tips & Tricks for Meme Stretcher

Try these quick tricks to get more from each edit. First, use a small radius around a face or other key detail for a focused expression change. Second, switch modes between strokes; a gentle Swirl followed by a little Inflate can create a wonderfully odd look. Third, work in short drags so it's easier to steer the effect, and use Undo if a stroke goes too far. Fourth, experiment with your own uploaded photos as well as the gallery templates. Reset is handy when you want to try a completely different idea without reopening the image. Ready for another hands-on creative break? Browse more playful image-editing creative tools.
