The forest is quiet, the campfire is glowing, and someone is bound to investigate that strange whistle. In The Whistle Monster, you play as the hunter, not the hunted. Use your call to lure campers away from safety, slip through the trees, and strike when they get close. Watch every flashlight beam: getting caught in the light raises your exposure, and reaching 100 percent ends the hunt. Clear every target to survive the night and face a tougher challenge next time. How to Play The Whistle Monster
Move through the forest with the virtual joystick in the lower-left corner of the screen. Look for campers and pay attention to their patrol routes and flashlight direction before making a move. Tap the Whistle button in the lower-right corner to send out a call. Nearby campers will investigate, giving you a chance to guide them away from the group. Stay among the trees, where cover can block their view, and avoid standing in a flashlight beam. When a camper is close enough, tap Strike to attack; the button activates and shows a prompt when you are in range. You can also tap a nearby camper on the canvas to attempt a direct attack. Clear all the required targets to finish the night, then select Next Hunt to continue. If your exposure reaches 100 percent, the hunt ends. Choose Retry Night to try again.
Tips & Tricks for The Whistle Monster
A little patience can turn a risky hunt into a clean escape. First, use the trees as cover and plan your route before crossing open ground. Second, whistle from a safe spot, then move to a position where the camper will approach on your terms. Third, watch the exposure meter: leave the flashlight beam quickly so the danger can fall instead of building to 100 percent. Fourth, avoid attacking beside other campers, since nearby witnesses can panic and run. Finally, remember that each new night brings more targets, so make every whistle count.
