Tornado Supercell Simulator

Made by

Brecken Weddington

Take control of a twisting vortex and turn a quiet landscape into a full-blown storm zone. Tornado Supercell Simulator is an arcade-style tornado simulator where every tree, vehicle, barn, and building you absorb adds debris and helps your funnel grow stronger. Steer across the map, trigger a powerful Vortex Pulse, and watch your wind speed, width, pressure, and EF rating change in real time. Want a storm with a story? Browse historical tornado profiles, including El Reno and Joplin, and see how different funnels and subvortices shape each run. Build toward a storm survey report, then compare your record with your next attempt. If you love weather-themed destruction, explore more storm-ready simulation games.

How to Play Tornado Supercell Simulator

Start by moving or dragging your pointer across the terrain to guide the tornado toward objects you want to absorb. Sweep through trees, vehicles, homes, barns, and other structures to collect debris and build strength. Keep an eye on the HUD: it tracks your EF rating, wind speed, vortex width, central pressure, debris total, and progress toward the next intensity milestone. Tap Vortex Pulse when you want a brief burst of stronger suction, especially near a cluster of destructible objects. Use the radar button to switch between velocity and reflectivity views, which offer different ways to read the storm. Select Storms to explore available historical scenarios, or choose Next Sector to generate a fresh area. Reach the required strength target to create a storm survey report, save your results, and start another run.

Tips & Tricks for Tornado Supercell Simulator

For a stronger run, keep moving through dense areas instead of circling empty ground. Prioritize clusters of buildings and vehicles so each pass gathers more debris. Save Vortex Pulse for a compact group of targets or a moment when you need a quick boost. Check the radar regularly and switch its display mode to get a fresh view of storm activity. Watch your progress bar and stats together: the EF rating is only one part of your storm's growth. Try different historical profiles to experience their distinct funnel shapes and subvortex setups.
